Hi everyone, hope you all are doing good. Today’s recipe is ‘Parwal chatni’. You all must have different types of chatni.
But when it comes to parwal we usually make its sabji with aloo or something else. Parwal is also called pointed gourd. It is a green vegetable which is prepared special in North Indian states.
Parwal chatni can be prepared in many ways and I am going to share the most easiest way to make it. It will add a zing to your everday meals or as a delightful accompaniment to your favorite snacks.
So let’s start making it.
Steps to make while preparing parwal chatni:-
- Take 4- 5 pointed gourd(parwal) and roast it on gas flame.
- When they roasted properly let them cool down.
- Now peel off the burnt part .
- Take grinder jar and make the paste to roasted parwal.
- Now heat 1tsp of oil in the kadhai.
- Put 1/2tsp of cumin seeds.
- Now add 1chopped green chilli and 3to4 chopped garlic gloves.
- Add 1 chopped onion and stir it for 5mins.
- After 5mins add 1small chopped tomato in it.
- Now mix tomatoes and add 1/2tsp turmeric powder, 1/2tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder and salt to taste.
- Mix all the ingredients and cover it for 10mins.
- After 10mins open the and again mix it. Add roasted parwal paste in it.
- Mix the roasted parwal paste with all the ingredients for 5mins only or when it starts sticking at bottom.
- Your parwal chatni is ready to serve. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves. Serve it roti, paratha or whatever you like it taste good with all .
