Chicken curry recipe

Hi friends,hope you all are doing good.Today’s recipe is for my non vegetarians friends i.e ‘chicken curry recipe’ . When we say non veg food the first thing which comes in our mind is chicken.

So I thought to share my favorite recipe of chicken curry. In this recipe you don’t need to add any water for gravy. Chicken curry recipe is very simple yet delicious and it is also very easy to prepare at home itself. Only you have to follow some simple steps.

so let’s start making it…..

Steps to follow while making chicken curry recipe:-

  • Heat 4tsp oil in Kadhi and add 1/2tsp cumin seeds, 1bay leaf, 2cardamom, 4to5 black pepper and 1inch dalcheeni.
  • Now add 500gm chopped onions, 10to12 garlic gloves, 1tsp crushed ginger and 2 green chilli in it.
  • Cook them for 2minutes and then add salt to taste and 1tsp turmeric powder in it. Mix it and cook for 5minutes .

  • When you see onions become soft then add 2tsp red chilli powder and 2tsp corriander powder in it.

  • Mix the spices with onions properly and add 1kg washed chicken pieces in it.

  • Mix the chicken pieces with spices and onions and cook it on slow flame for 10mins by covering it. After 10mins open it and give a nice stir to the chicken pieces. You will see onions start releases its water .

  • Again cover it and cook it for 20mins . Between this open it and give it a nice stir regular so that you will get a good amount of gravy in chicken.
  • After 20mins of cooking open it and add 1/2tsp garam masala powder.

  • Mix it properly and then add 1small packet of chicken curry masala powder in it.
  • Now cook it for 10mins again without covering it and add 1tsp butter it is totally optional if you wish you can avoid it.

  • Your chicken curry is ready to serve.Serve it with roti or rice whatever you like it.
